Over 100 students from all over the world will take courses on Italy, Cultures of the World and Global Challenges in the 15-week program. The specialization track on Environmental Management and Sustainable Development gives students with a background in the Social Sciences the opportunity to acquire skills that will be useful in developing careers in this field, training among others in innovation and social changes, energy politics, and environmental and natural resource economics. There will also be other excellent opportunities for students interested in the relationship and comparison between Asian and European cultures, but also intercultural exchange, and gender studies. Additional courses will be proposed, based on common principles of research through parallelisms and complementarities, such as Communicating Media and Politics and Comparative Studies on Nationalism.
The courses are interdisciplinary and are structured as seminars so as to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience among students from different academic and cultural backgrounds.
The course listing for Spring 2018 term is available online, descriptions and syllabi will soon be updated.
