Exhibition on San Servolo island

From February 6 to March 12, 2019 the island of San Servolo will host the exhibition “1988-2018”.
In the latest artworks of a long career, the Italian painter Antonia di Giulio creates engaging dialogues by combining black, white, and gray-toned abstract paintings with similarly scaled black and white photographic portraits of herself selected from a series made several decades ago by the well-known New York photographer, Ralph Gibson.
The exhibition, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva, is promoted by Venice International University and by San Servolo Servizi Metropolitani and will be inaugurated on February 6, 5pm.
