In cooperation with Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, we are pleased to offer the VIU students of this semester the opportunity to join the VIU Dragon Boat team.
Dragon Boat is an exciting water team sport where groups of rowers compete in a final race.
After four training sessions, the VIU team will participate in the rowing competition against the student teams of Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and Università Iuav di Venezia.
The training sessions will take place from 12.30 to 1.30 pm on the following days:
March 30;
April 4;
April 18;
April 26.
Final race has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 27 at 4 pm.
The location for the final race is Darsena di Passo Campalto.
An additional session has been organized for the students who will not be able to participate in the final race due to attendance to VIU courses.
The additional session will be held on May 2 at 12.30 to 1.30 pm.
The participation fee for both training sessions and the final competition is €25.
The meeting point for the training sessions will be at the San Servolo boat stop, in front of VIU main entrance.
