How we can support applications from VIU students:
VIU can support applications of students of the Spring 2017, Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters, and can be the applicants' "sending institution", co-sign the learning agreement. and provide a certificate once the internship is completed.
These internship opportunities are for university students only - students must be registered for a Bachelor or Master's degree in their home university for the duration of the internship.
Students who have applied for the Fall 2017 VIU Internship Program may also apply for the Biennale internships, and if selected, receive the VIU scholarship for a placement at the Biennale.
Spring 2018 students may apply for the Biennale internships that begin after the Spring semester has ended, and are advised also to apply for the VIU Internship Program. If selected for both the Biennale and the VIU program, the VIU scholarship can be used to support the Biennale internship.
