Workshop
Friday, November 23rd, 10.30 am - 4.30 pm
Venice International University
San Servolo Island, Venice (Room 1G, First Floor)
The workshop "Innovazione sociale, sostenibilità e crescita: il ruolo delle imprese B-corp e della finanza" (in Italian) is part of the Project "MoBIS – Nuovi modelli di business e valutazione dell’impatto sociale: percorsi di sostenibilità per le PMI" funded by the Veneto Region and coordinated by ISRE, Istituto Superiore Internazionale Salesiano di Ricerca Educativa.
MoBIS identifies business models that have achieved highly positive social impacts in Italy and worldwide. It introduces best practices to a number of selected SMEs, which have the chance to become acquainted with B-Corp principles and pursue certification.
The VIU workshop presents the first results of MoBIS research carried out by the University of Padua, partner in the project, and offers to interested SMEs and other stakeholders the opportunity to know more about the B-Corp as well as other business models for social innovation, through the dialogue with invited national and international experts and actors in the field.
