President Umberto Vattani is very pleased to announce the addition of a new work to the Sculpture Park at San Servolo. 

The work "Espiga Naranja" by the Mexican sculptor Sebastián was donated to Venice International University by the Embassy of Mexico in Italy on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mexico and Italy. 

The unveiling ceremony took place in San Servolo on April 12, 2024.

On San Servolo Island, students, professors, and visitors can admire works of art by internationally renowned contemporary artists.  As an istitution which appreciates and values the importance of art, VIU is proud to exhibit several artworks in the park on the Island of San Servolo.
