The Course for Sustainability is a training program on sustainable development for countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Black Sea.
It is conceived as a series of regional courses with the aim of addressing specific environmental topics crucial for the sustainable development of the targeted region. To foster partnerships among participants for the promotion of local and regional cooperation on sustainability is a wider objective of the Course.
The Course is usually made of a one-week session at Venice International University and an introductory or concluding session in the targeted region.
The Course is supported by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, and developed in strict cooperation with the Regional Environmental Center (REC).
