Application procedure and cost

Students from VIU member universities: € 350 incl. VAT
Students from the Federico II of Naples University: € 550 incl. VAT
Other applicants: € 700 incl. VAT

The fees will cover tuition, course materials, airport transfers from Cape Town International airport to accommodation in Stellenbosch, lunches during the working days, site visit and social events.

Participants will be responsible for covering their own travel expenses to and from Stellenbosch, local transportation and accommodation.

VIU Alumni are eligible for a reduced fee.

Accommodation

This 4th edition of the Summer School will take place at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

The cost of accommodation in Stellenbosch University residence for each participant in shared room (double) with another participant is € 188 for 6 nights incl. taxes. Breakfast included. (Check in June 29 - Check out July 5, 2025).

In case of cancellation

- up to 90 days before the start date of the program, the tuition fee is refundable.
- between 90 days and 30 days before the start date of the program, 50% of the tuition fee is refundable.
- less than 30 days before the start date of the program, the tuition fee is not refundable.
