Venice International University is proud to announce that a prestigious new Member has joined the Association: the University of Exeter (UK).
A delegation from the University of Exeter had attended a meeting of the VIU Academic Council earlier as auditors, and this led to an official request on their part to become a Member of VIU.
The VIU Assembly voted unanimously on December 9, 2019 in favor of welcoming the University of Exeter as a new Member.
Ambassador Umberto Vattani, President of VIU, expressed the great satisfaction of having Exeter on board on behalf of the Dean - Professor Carlo Giupponi - and all the other Members of VIU.
Professor Mark Goodwin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) of the University of Exeter, wrote to President Vattani: "We are excited to be joining VIU and are very much looking forward to working more closely with you all."
