The video represents a comprehensive account of all aspects of the project and shows the results of the pilot cases developed by all partners.
Efficient intermodal transport networks allow passengers to use different modes of transport to get to their destination in a convenient and sustainable way. This may involve, for example, coordinating timetables and information services between bus and rail, or providing bicycle carriages on trains and trams. Seamless services will make it easier for the passengers to make the sustainable choice.
The ICARUS project aimed to offer new transport solutions in the regions between Italy and Croatia that are based on ICT and Mobility as a Service, combined with measures to change the behavior of users. The intention is to put the user at the center of transport with intelligent mobility management and distribution systems. The ICARUS partners worked for 3 years to encourage new sustainable mobility behaviors and create innovative and intermodal services to make transport more efficient and beneficial for all.
