1-year Post-Doc Position on managing sustainability tensions for change
Job Description: The candidate will participate in a research project that seeks to investigate What factors make organizations effectively address the tensions between different goals, such as profit-seeking and S&E goals? And what factors prevent them to do so?
The candidate will be expected to actively participate in the research process and support the team with the development of the research hypotheses, and most importantly, with their empirical testing both via quantitative and qualitative analyses. In particular, the candidate is expected to systematise existing database and perform econometric analyses which enables to understand tensions emerging in developing more eco-friendly processes. Furthermore, the candidate is expected to collect and analyse qualitative evidence on tensions emerging with the development of the research hypotheses, and most importantly, with their empirical testing and within partnerships among actors from multiple sectors. Finally, he is expected to support in preparing brief policy briefs summarising main results for broader audience. Therefore, experience in both quantitative and qualitative analyses will be appreciated, so as fluency in Italian and English. The candidate is not expected to move permanently. In addition to the salary, the position includes also funds to participate to two international conferences.

Research grant amount: € 21.888,50 gross per annum
