We interviewed Tabea, a student of the Globalization Program, to hear more about her experience in the VIU program, and about life in Venice.
“What I really liked about VIU is that it has such a unique take on studying abroad, because it’s not a huge typical university, but it’s very special: everyone comes together from all across the world.”
“What is so unique is definitely the location and who is here. It is not only studying abroad, it’s really a cultural exchange semester. So you learn a lot about other people, you have the possibility to choose from a variety of courses.”
“What I appreciated the most was the small classes, and that everyone came from a different background. Because at home I typically have big lecture with a hundred / two hundred students. This is also cool, but it is new to me to always be in the small class, it is very interdisciplinary, very interactive.”
