The plenary workshop is a key VIU event in which professors and students of the Globalization Program will explore and discuss the theme of The Future.
The program will include themes such as the future of communication, the infinite possibilities of the virtual world and how to re-humanize communication; the future of cities in urban design and planning; future and food safety; eco-centrism as a possible future; social progress vs. technical progress.
Talks, presentations, readings and performances will stem from the courses taught by:

The Plenary Workshop is a unique opportunity to recognize the VIU community as one, breaking the borders between the courses, training students to address topics of the disciplines taught to a broader audience, revealing the hidden talents of the participants, and forging multicultural and transgenerational bonds.
