Each semester scholarships are awarded to talented students to contribute to the cost of living in Venice for a semester, to promote excellence and diversity in the Globalization Program.
Among the students enrolled in the 1st Semester 2024-25 of the Globalization Program, three were selected as RED (Residency-Excellence-Diversity) Scholars:
Viktoriia Fomina, Master student in Art History at European University at St. Petersburg, Russia
Jennifer Hu, BSc student in Psychology at Duke University, USA
Peter Seeland, Master student in Art History at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Germany
The RED scholars are expected to actively contribute to promoting and organizing co-curricular activities such as the Tea2B, weekly informal conversations taking place at VIU on key topics that involve students, professors and staff.
They will also participate in this semester's Globalization Program Plenary Workshop.
