Admitted candidates will be notified by mid-May, and must pay the registration fee within one week of receiving confirmation of admission.

Applications and Fees

Full Tuition and Registration Fee: € 1600 incl. VAT
Full Accommodation* Fee: €368 incl. VAT

25 fee-waiver scholarships are available in 2026.

Recipients of the fee-waiver scholarship will pay a registration fee only:

Students of Ca' Foscari University and the University of Padova: €50 incl. VAT

Students of VIU member universities: €100 incl. VAT

Students of non-VIU member universities: €150 incl. VAT

The fee-waiver and registration fee will cover tuition, teaching materials, lunches in the VIU cafeteria, a social dinner and accommodation (if requested - not available for Ca' Foscari students).

*Accommodation will be in shared rooms on the San Servolo campus for 6 nights, with breakfast and including city tax.

Student participants will be responsible for covering their own travel expenses to and from Venice, local transportation, and evening meals.

Once the Call for Applications closes, you will receive notification by email from ageing@univiu.org on the outcome of the selection procedure. If successful, you will receive further logistical details.

Accommodation

Accommodation will be in shared rooms on the San Servolo campus for 6 nights, with breakfast and including city tax.

Check-out: June 13, 2026

Students who are applying for the Fee-Waiver Scholarship must request accommodation here if they wish to be considered for subsidized accommodation also.

The cost of accommodation without the fee-waiver scholarship is € 368 for 6 nights, breakfast and taxes included.

Up to 25 students will receive accommodation support as part of the Fee-Waiver Scholarship.

Once selected, in case of cancellation

- up to 90 days before the start date of the program, the tuition fee is refundable.
- between 90 days and 30 days before the start date of the program, 50% of the tuition fee is refundable.
- less than 30 days before the start date of the program, the tuition fee is not refundable.
