A curricular internship offers a unique chance to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations, expand knowledge of current trends, challenges, and opportunities within a given field, and enhance essential skills such as teamwork, time management, and problem-solving, all while making an impact in a professional setting.
Shortlisted candidates could have an opportunity to expand their academic journey beyond the classroom and gain hands-on experience in Italy.
Students can apply for a scholarship to be hosted for a curricular internship at select research centers, universities, and cultural organizations such as UNESCO and Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
Deadline for applications April 6.

Discovering the Graffiti of Piazza San Marco with Desi Marangon (open to all)

Piazza San Marco
Desi Marangon, historian and writer specialized in the study of inscriptions and graffiti in Venice, will guide us in this one-hour activity through Piazza San Marco to discover the graffiti hidden within its walls.
Interested students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Wednesday , March 26, 12 pm, at the Front Office.
Participants will receive further information about the meeting time and point during the day of the visit.
On-site visit to selected neighborhoods of Venice Metropolitan City (S2521)
Friday, March 28, 1 pm - 4 pm
Field visit: Villaggio S. Marco (Mestre) + PEEP Circus (Chirignago). The visit is going to explore how the idea and urban policy-making of the "Great Venice" unfolded within the metropolitan area and how the "Venetian" architecture and urban design has been reinterpreted by modern architects in mainland neighbourhoods along the '60-'80s, those same architects that were also directing or teaching at Iuav University of Venice. This co-curricular activity is an integral part of the course S2521 Inhabiting Urban Space and Sense of Place and is therefore strongly recommended for enrolled students. However,note that enrolled students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Wednesday, March 26, 12pm, at the Front Office.
Some places may be available to interested non-enrolled students. Participants will receive further information about the meeting time and point the day before the visit.
