Considering the uncertain situation regarding COVID-19 and the different stages that the countries represented in VIU activities are going through, VIU decided to allow maximum flexibility to students and Professors willing to participate in the semester but unable to come to Venice at the beginning of March due to governmental travel restrictions or health issues. 

For this reason, some of the courses might be taught entirely remotely. At the same time, students will have the possibility to choose whether they will participate in the program remotely or in person. The decision must be communicated before the beginning of classes and will be binding. 

If students decide to come to Venice, they will be expected to be physically present in class. If students decide to come to Venice, they will be expected to be physically present in class. Students can choose the mode of attendance through VIU website, by ticking the box on-line next to each course title when registering for courses. Deadline for choosing course selection: Friday February 19, 2021 at noon.
