I am delighted to extend my warmest greetings and congratulations to members of the Venice International University consortium (VIU).  The 25^th Anniversary of the Foundation of VIU is a milestone that offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate your fantastic achievements and continued success.

Since its establishment in 1995 VIU has built strong global partnerships. Extending from the heart of Europe, you bring students and staff together from around the world; to work and learn from one another in a truly inspiring, multicultural environment. Providing strong platforms for education and research collaboration, VIU has shown unswerving commitment to interdisciplinary and comparative methods. You have enabled students and faculty to address complex problems. You have harnessed talent, energy and ideas and brought people together to tackle the big challenges of our time. Through innovative study, research and internship experiences VIU continues to enrich the lives of students and faculty, cultivating global citizens with a desire to positively impact the communities we are part of.

I can assure you of The University of Exeter’s strong support for continued development of deep collaboration on multiple levels of scholarship, research and discovery as a proud member of VIU.
