Regional Association of Chambers of Commerce of Veneto appointed TeDIS to carry on the work package n.5 of the project: “guidelines and requirements for migrating to the Transpogood platform“; activity n. 5.1 “roadmap and forum discussion” and activity n.5.2 “impact on the private and public sector”. Transpogood is a project financed by the Italy-Croatia Program.
The TRANSPOGOOD (TRANSPORT OF GOODS PLATFORM) project officially started with implementation at a meeting held on 30.1. at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka, organized by Intermodal Transport Cluster as Project Manager. Fifteen partners from 8 organizations gathered to unite forces and achieve the ambitious goals of the project. The project started with the establishment of a Steering Committee and by defining the first steps in project implementation and internal rules.
The TRANSPOGOOD project is funded from the Interreg Italy-Croatia CBC Programme and co-financed by the Croatian Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs. The project will develop through the capitalization of the main results of the INTERMODADRIA project - an innovative approach to the development of intermodal and multimodal transport in the Adriatic, using coherent and complex tools to enable key stakeholders (shipping, operators etc.) in business. The goal is to achieve the following results:
• Innovative ICT tool (TRANSPOGOO platform) to find the best solution for transport services
• Profile calculator to track logistic and ecological performance by demonstrating specific benefits in transport and logistics operations
• Guidelines and recommendations for transferring stakeholders to the TRANSPOGOOD platform from existing systems
The project's expected results contribute to improving the quality, safety and ecological sustainability of maritime and coastal transport in the program area, promoting multimodality and the use of sustainable modes of transport.
