Students and professors are invited to San Servolo Café for an informal meeting to discuss the concept of Italian "dolce vita". Together we will discuss the myth that Italians know how to live easily, how the concept of "dolce vita" and "dolce far niente" affects the everyday life of Italians, and who and how maintains this notion in popular culture.

Students and professors are invited to the San Servolo Café to an informal collective conversation on the connection between mental and physical health. Together we will discuss why and how mental and physical health are linked together and how the discourse on mental health has changed over the last centuries. We will also inquire about the current trends and important updates on the present state of mental health in our home countries and the world in general.

Students and Professors are invited to discuss Lieux de la Memoires across the world, i.e. symbolic places, objects and concepts (a river, monument, museum, song, flag, dance, performance, event...) which have come to represent the memorial heritage of any community in a shared relevant way.

Together we will discuss how the ethnocentric view can compartmentalize and over-generalize ethnicities, classes, religions, peoples and genders. We are looking forward to hearing personal stories and examples relating to the topic and how being aware of your own cultural lens can benefit society.

Together we will discuss what and how media censorship has taken place throughout time and dig into why certain representations in books and other forms of media like movies have been critiqued, criticized and banned in different countries.
We will also inquire about why some modern curriculums encourage the teaching of famously banned books such as To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, One Flew Over the Cookoo’s Nest, by Ken Kesey, Doctor Zhivago, by Boris Pasternak, and more.

Also in the context of the meeting we will discuss the future of the institution of marriage from the perspective of diverse cultures.
