Veganism and vegetarianism are moral choices and lifestyles that more and more people are choosing, either for health, climate change mitigation, animal rights or for various other reasons. In this Tea2B we will discuss why people are vegetarian or vegan and their moral choices behind this and why vegans are called ‘extreme’ as well as how being vegan or vegetarian is perceived in different countries. Students and professors are welcome to talk about veganism and share their knowledge or experiences.

Tea2B n°1 | WORKSHOP THEMES PROPAGANDA EVENT

During the event, groups of students put forward arguments in favour of each one of the three themes submitted by the RED scholars: Global Citizenship; Globalization and De-globalization; the Future.
After the event, all VIU students will be called to vote for one of them through a link to a google form. The selected one will be the official theme of the Spring 2022 VIU Plenary Workshop.
