This week the Tea2B meeting will be substituted by the VIU Barbecue.
Join us at 6.30 pm and bring your own drinks and food to grill, to enjoy the sunset with music and good company. Everyone is invited to prepare a dish from their home country!
This activity is open to all students and faculty.
Dragon Boat rowing sessions
Wednesday, October 11, 12.30 - 1.30 pm.
The meeting point for all students enrolled in this activity is in front of the waterbus stop in San Servolo. Remember to wear comfortable clothes, sunscreen and a cap.
Photography Workshop with Lucas Gervilla
Wednesday October 11 (afternoon) or Saturday October 14
The activity is an integral part of the course F2323 Ruins: Aesthetic and Politics and it is reserved to the students enrolled.
During the workshop, the artist will discuss the ideas, fantasies and cultural significance of the “Grand Tour”.
The exact date and time of the workshop is still to be decided, the students will receive the final confirmation next week in class.
Site visit to Aquileia
Friday, October 13, 9 am - 5 pm.
This event is an integral part of the course F2324 Rome outside of Europe: Roman History through a Global, Multi-Cultural, and Interdisciplinary Lens.
This co-curricular activity is therefore compulsory and sponsored by VIU for the students enrolled in it.
However, note that students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Tuesday, October 10, at the Front Office.
Participants will receive further information about the visit and on the meeting time and point after registration.
Some places can be available for interested students and faculty. The participation fee for participants not enrolled in the course is 20 euros.
