A curricular internship is an opportunity for students to expand their academic experience in Italy!
Not only will students learn from experienced professionals, but they can also have the chance to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives, make a tangible impact, and add to their CV/resume. Potential host organizations include:
UNESCO – Venice office offers a learning opportunity towards a general understanding of the work and mission of a UNESCO Regional Bureau, hands-on experience in communications in an international, multicultural environment, and insight into communication issues at a global level (for students with a native proficiency in English).
UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe - Science Unit helps build more inclusive, resilient and sustainable societies grounded in scientific knowledge and international cooperation. The intern will acquire an understanding of UNESCO's overall work and gain practical experience in project design, planning, implementation, and policy development within an international and multicultural environment.
Peggy Guggenheim Collection provides an in-depth experience to students who are interested in pursuing careers in the arts and museum fields. Students will gain a broad understanding of daily museum life and may complete individual projects, attend meetings, and participate in ongoing conversations and processes throughout the PGC (students must be able to converse in English to interact with the museum public and team).
ALDA - European Association for Local Democracy supports the growth and training of motivated young people in their association dedicated to the promotion of good governance and citizen participation at the local level in the European Union, its Neighbourhood and beyond.
An Information Session for Internships in Italy scholarships will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 12:15 pm in Room 6L.
