In this activity, we will visit the Museum of Medicine located inside the Scuola Grande di San Marco, a historic building that now forms part of Venice's main hospital complex. The tour will be led by Dr. Giovanni Capitanio, a practicing physician who works on-site and will guide us through the museum's collection.
This co-curricular activity is an integral part of the courses F2516 Health Communication and F2517 A Matter of Life and Death and is therefore strongly recommended and sponsored by VIU for the students enrolled. However, note that students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Wednesday, October 22, 12 pm, at the Front Office.
For non enrolled students interested in joining, the participation fee is 5€ to be paid at the moment of registration (the exact fee in cash).
Participants will receive further information the day before the visit.
The full program of co-curricular activities is available at this link on the VIU website. Check it regularly for updates.
