As the Covid-19 restrictions start to ease, we can begin to think of travel again and look forward to opportunities next year!
VIU will soon issue a new round of Erasmus+ calls for application for study, teaching, and training opportunities in the member universities in the EU, UK, Israel, Russia, and Canada. Students, professors, and staff in VIU's Italian member universities are eligible to apply.
Applicants should note that the calls will be for mobility projects funded through the 2014-2020 Erasmus+ programme that have been extended.
KA103 mobilities must be completed by September 30, 2022.
KA107 mobilities must be completed by July 31, 2022.
The funding available:
€5,500 for mobility to Programme Countries;
€84,000 for mobility to/from Israel;
€77,000 for mobility to/from Russia;
€9,800 for mobility to/from Canada.

Mobility for Studies - including Thesis Research
Studying abroad is a transformational experience. While completing credits towards your degree you will acquire transversal skills, cultivate global awareness and global competence, and increase social and cultural openness, and linguistic skills. Experiencing a different academic context and different teaching methodologies will develop the ability your ability to approach complex challenges from an interdisciplinary perspective while applying critical thinking. These skills, along with teamwork and the ability to work in intercultural contexts will enhance your employability.

Mobility for Teaching
Through Erasmus+ mobility teaching staff in the Italian member universities can benefit from the opportunity to travel to teach abroad, and enjoy opportunities for transnational cooperative teaching through the academic exchange with a view to developing collaborative research.

Mobility for Training
Staff can further their professional development through training and practice via international exchanges with colleagues in other universities. The funding opportunity can be used for staff training weeks, or for job shadowing.
