The Closing Ceremony will gather together the over 100 students representing nearly 20 nationalities throughout three continents who since last September have come back to San Servolo and attended in person the courses taught by professors from VIU's member universities.
The Globalization Program brings together talented, motivated students from the member universities in a truly multicultural, international and interdisciplinary environment. Students enjoy a powerful learning experience in which they develop their capacity for critical thinking, working across disciplines, creatively embracing new ideas. The academic courses are complemented by an extensive program of co-curricular activities, taking students out of the classroom, and into the city of Venice for on-site classes, visits to cultural institutions, civic associations and businesses, and to places of historic and artistic significance.
