The Closing Ceremony will gather together nearly 100 students representing nearly 20 nationalities throughout three continents who since last September have come to San Servolo and attended the courses taught by professors from VIU's member universities.
The Globalization Program brings together talented, motivated students from the member universities in a truly multicultural, international and interdisciplinary environment. Students enjoy a powerful learning experience in which they develop their capacity for critical thinking, working across disciplines, and creatively embracing new ideas. The academic courses are complemented by an extensive program of co-curricular activities, taking students out of the classroom, and into the city of Venice for on-site classes, visits to cultural institutions, civic associations and businesses, and places of historic and artistic significance.
