The conference "Violence Against Women and Gendered Disinformation: Intersecting Perspectives from Research, Policy, and Practice from Bulgaria, Italy and Lithuania" is an interactive day-and-a-half event that aims to explore the intersection between gender-based violence against women and disinformation, especially in the context of phenomena such as the rise of the global anti-gender movement, increasing inequalities, the rise of populism, and democratic backsliding.

The conference will offer both in-person and virtual participation options.

This event is organized within the framework of the project “Stereotyping, Disinformation, and Politicisation: links between attacks against the Istanbul Convention and increased online gender-based violence” (RESIST).
