San Servolo cafè
All of VIU is invited to Monday’s T2B on Protests! In light of the ongoing controversy and resistance towards the new Access Fee in Venice, students and professors are invited to discuss this new wave of protests, protests in general, their effectiveness, as well as other forms of rebellion. The discussion will be once again held in the San Servolo Cafe at 4:30 pm.

Dragon Boat training sessions

The meeting point for all students enrolled in this activity is in front of the waterbus stop in San Servolo.

Gastronomic workshop at Istituto Venezia
Friday, May 3, 10.30 am
This co-curricular activity is an integral part of the courses S2408 Identity, Heritage and Globalization and is therefore strongly recommended and sponsored by VIU for the students enrolled. However, note that students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Thursday, May 2, 12pm (noon), at the Front Office.
Some places can be available to interested non-enrolled students and professors. The ticket fee is 15€ to be paid at the moment of registration.
Guided visit to La Biennale di Venezia - anti-colonial artists; Arsenale and Giardini venues
Friday, May 3, 1.30 pm
This co-curricular activity is an integral part of the courses S2401 History of Venice; S2410 Global Governance for Peace and Security; S2418 Anti-colonial Metropolises and is therefore strongly recommended and sponsored by VIU for the students enrolled. Students that have already confirmed their participation will receive more information about the visit the day before.
VeUMEU - Venice Universities' Model European Union
from Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5
Students enrolled in this activity will have the chance to participate in a simulation of the EU legislative procedure on the island of San Servolo.

Visit to Scuola Grande di San Marco

This co-curricular activity is an integral part of the courses S2404 Art and Architecture in Renaissance Venice; S2416 Sustainable Development of Medicine and Health in Venice and is therefore strongly recommended and sponsored by VIU for the students enrolled. However, note that students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Wednesday, April 24, 12pm (noon), at the Front Office.
Some places can be available to interested non-enrolled students and professors. The ticket fee is 5€ for students and 8€ for professors, to be paid at the moment of registration.
Dragon Boat Final Race
Friday, May 3, 3 pm
Students who have confirmed their participation will take part in this competition over a distance of 150 meters. VIU students will be "squadra VIU" (VIU crew).
