9 am - 1 pm | Sala Teatro
The plenary workshop is a key VIU event in which professors and students of the Globalization Program explore and discuss a theme chosen together at the beginning of the semester.
This semester the theme will be Paradoxes.
Participants will offer their interpretation of an aspect of the chosen theme, working as a class group or on their own, taking inspiration from what has come out of the program of the courses they are attending or presenting their personal experience.
The program will include performances, dialogues, music and dances with the participation of VIU GP students and professors.
Some talks, presentations and videos will stem from the courses taught by:
Matteo Basso / Federico Dall’Omo (Università Iuav di Venezia )
Massimo Brunzin, Carola Drago and Laura Ventruto (Venice International University)
Dorian Canelas (Duke University)
Sara De Vido / Patricio Ignacio Barbirotto (Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia)
Kurt Feyaerts (KU Leuven)
Sandro Guzzi-Heeb (Université de Lausanne)
Alberto Lanzavecchia /Giorgio Andrian (Università degli Studi di Padova)
Marc-William Palen (University of Exeter)
Mark Wenig (Ludwig Maximilians Universität)
The detailed program will be soon published in a box at the side of the page.
The Plenary Workshop is a unique opportunity to recognize the VIU community as one, breaking the borders between the courses, training students to address topics of the disciplines taught to a broader audience, revealing the hidden talents of the participants, and forging multicultural and transgenerational bonds.
After the workshop, all participants are invited to a light lunch sponsored by VIU.
! To confirm your participation please fill in this form before Wednesday, April 17.
